Course Description:

Develop and apply abilities in oral and written communication and related critical thinking skills. Develops empathic and critical listening, reading, viewing, writing, and speaking skills for deliberation, problem solving, and community building. Students apply and assess reasoning and argumentative skills in oral, written, and visual communication contexts on various topics. Requires successful completion of coursework that satisfies ENGCOM A and ENGCOM B. For Liberal Studies students only. (Offered every semester.)
