Days and Times

Day Codes

Every day of the week has a specific letter associated with it:

  • M - Monday
  • T - Tuesday
  • W - Wednesday
  • R - Thursday
  • F - Friday
  • S - Saturday
  • U - Sunday

Times

Times in class listings are shortened to make the listing easier to read. All times that are on the hour are just listed with the hour and am/pm. For example, 8:00 am would become 8 am.

Key Icons

Closed - Closed

There are no more seats left to register for.

Cancelled - Cancelled

The section has been cancelled. Contact the department (contact info available by clicking on a course title) if you have questions.

Recent Change - Recently Changed

Something has recently changed in the past five days to a section. This includes changes to the days, times, or locations of a course.

New Course - New Section

A section that is less than five days old.

Course has alternate dates - Section Has Alternate Dates

Some courses don't meet right at the beginning of the semester, end early, or have otherwise unusual start/end dates. If you see this icon, click on the course title to see the begin and end dates under "More Information."

Course has fees - Section Has Fees

A section has additional fees, which can include registration fees for Extended Education courses. Click on the course title to see how much the fees are.

Course has a Component - Section has a Component

Some courses are broken into components, which have different meeting times, but are otherwise considered part of the same class. For instance, a CST 101 section 1 course might have a component called CST 101 section 51. When you register for section 1 or section 51, you are automatically enrolled in the other.

If you see the component icon, make sure to click on the course title to see all the meeting times for the course.

Tips

  1. When viewing a list of courses, clicking on an instructor's name will give you a list of all of their courses.
  2. If you don't know a ULR code by heart, just 'hover' your mouse cursor over the code to see its corresponding ULR. Try it: UUSH.
  3. Clicking on a building code (like this: Bldg. 18) will take you to a campus map highlighting the building.
