Course Description:

Based on current research which introduces important contemporary issues, such as the relationship between identification, assessment, and program planning for students with moderate/severe disabilities. Covers formal and informal assessment, instructional strategies, curriculum design, and modifications which are relevant, age-appropriate and structured to ensure student success and independence in general education and other learner-centered environments. (Offered fall and spring semesters.)
