It directly engages students in the design and implementation of applied research projects (most likely part of their capstone projects), including research design, hypothesis testing, data collection, data analysis, and the presentation of findings in both written and oral formats. Examines critically both strengths and weaknesses of different research methods given different types of available data. (Offered fall semester.)
