Examines these writers' cultural heritage and traditions. Develops analytical and critical reading ability of literature through discussion of themes, characters, techniques, images, and structures. Explores the symbiotic relationship between literature and film in transmitting cultural values. Requires successful completion of coursework that satisfies the ENGCOM A ULR.
