Course Description:

Through portfolio assessment, introduces students to college-level reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Further develops reading skills through a focus on divergent perspectives. Emphasizes the writing process to develop writings and a research paper. Develops empathic and critical listening skills through class discussion, peer workshops, interviews, and group presentations within a collaborative, interactive, and intercultural environment. (Offered every semester.)
