Course Description:

Introduces science as a method of studying and understanding the natural world. Promotes critical thinking, problem solving, and scientific literacy through an understanding of the process and product of scientific inquiry. For non-science majors. (Offered fall and spring semesters.)

  • Requires passing grade on ELM test, or completion of CSUMB Math 99 Workshop.
  • Students must enroll in lecture and one lab.
  • Course designed for non-science majors.
