Course Description:

Emphasizes critical thinking skills combined with reading, writing, thinking, and understanding visual information within a technical communications context. Students critically analyze material for reasonableness, persuasive power, social context, and ethical merit. Students read numerous context related writings, analyze their effectiveness, and write a number of papers that offer significant insights based on valid research in information technology and communications design. (Offered only as interest warrants.)
