Course Description:
An in-dept exploration of composers, aesthetic considerations, and myriad developments of music in film, from the silent era to the present. Introduces feature films whose groundbreaking, innovative use of music plays a crucial role in qualifying them as examples of Richard Wagner's revolutionary concept of total artwork.(Offered fall semester.)
