Course Description:

Explores the ¿modern¿ era of World History since roughly 1500. Highlights the mounting ¿globalization¿ of the world¿s diverse societies, the emergence of a new and distinctly ¿modern¿ way of life, the growing prominence of Europeans on the world stage, and the various forms of resistance to Western dominance.
