Course Description:

Provides the foundation for designing information systems used in business for problem solving and decision making, using advanced tools in spreadsheet software such as nested IFs, macros and solver, list and database management, basic Visual Basic for Applications procedures; implementing a relatively complex spreadsheet information system for a business situation; designing basic functional websites using HTML programming; and understanding ethical issues involved. Students apply these concepts to real-world business problems individually and in teams. (Offered every semester.)
