General topics include: principles of pharmacology and drug action, "new" drug development, general theories of psychopharmacology, theories of emotion/motivation/reward, drugs and the nervous system, biochemical hypotheses of antipsychotic action, biochemical hypotheses of mood stabilizers, pharmacotherapy for mental disorders, and geriatric psychopharmacology.
